ROYAL OAK – Kathleen Norton-Schock updates Diva Tech Talk, a series of podcasts featuring women in tech, and the national awards the show recently won. Two, in fact, from the 2017 Clarion Awards from the Association of Women in Communications.
Kathleen also updates what’s happening with the Michigan Association of Women in Technology including taking nominations for the Women in Technology Award. The awards gala is scheduled for Oct. 28 at the Ford Conference Center in Dearborn. There also is a website Design Competition for Middle and High School Girls, Plus an event coming up in Grand Rapids in late October. You can learn more by clicking on www.wcmt.org.

Diva Tech Talk Co-Host Kathleen Norton Schock announced on M2 TechCast that her show won two Clarion Awards from the Association for Women in Communications: Radio Regular Talk Or Interview Program and Women’s Issues Radio Program. The competition drew entries from 19 states and two countries.
Among other things, the M2 June TechCast features Epitec's Chief Sales Officer, Rebecca Bray (the subject of Diva Tech Talk's Episode 46!), who discusses the upcoming tech talent crisis, and what her company is doing to combat it.
